Transportation

Overview

We are committed to ensuring that every Summit student has a safe and reliable way to get from home to school on time every day.

All students at Summit Olympus who live more than one mile away from Summit Olympus will receive one free, annual ORCA card to help them get to school. This works just like cash or a pass on the Tacoma Buses, and will allow your student unlimited rides on Tacoma regional buses and rail on Pierce Transit, Community Transit, Everett Transit, Kitsap Transit, King Country Metro Transit, and Sound Transit.

This pass will be valid for 12 months, from August 1, 2016-July 31, 2017. Each pass will be assigned to a student - it is their responsibility to take care of this card. A lost pass will not be able to be replaced easily.

Before receiving the pass, the student will complete and sign a cardholder agreement that outlines rules of use. A parent or guardian will also sign this agreement.
