Rachel Hoffman was raised in southern California and at the age of 19, enlisted in the United States Army. She served as a Military Police Officer in South Korea for one year and West Point, New York for three years. While on active duty, Rachel earned her parachutist badge, master driver badge, and attained the rank of sergeant. After her service, she returned to southern California where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology. Soon after, she began working with students with exceptionalities by providing behavioral support in an inclusive classroom setting. She then realized that providing support for students is her passion and began her masters in special education at Grand Canyon University. Rachel believes that each and every student can be successful when we break down the barriers we may have in learning. When Rachel has free time, she loves watching professional hockey (Go Ducks!) and playing recreational hockey. She also enjoys music and playing the drums is her passion.
